Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), is one type of stem cell that is widely used in stem cell therapy. However, the preparation of MSC culture requires inefficient and less economical isolation techniques. This innovation isolates MSC, from lipoaspirate, by using a simple sieving method. Filtration uses coffee/tea filters made of stainless steel, which can shorten the washing process and MSC isolation. Due to the use of less abstergent, the isolated MSC becomes more economical than using conventional method.
