The development of biomedical material based on biological ingredient has not produced the suitable pores sizes, and it results in slow tissue regeneration. This innovation develops biomaterials based on; alginate and collagen, to produce a skeleton (scaffold) that has a large pore. Alginate/collagen is used to bind the calcium ions, to form calcium phosphate pore, so as to support the structure of new bone tissue regeneration. The resulting scaffold has an average pore size of 200-400 µm.
