In this innovation, melinjo crackers is soaked in boiled suruhan leaf (Infusa peperomia) to neutralize compounds that trigger the increase of purine level in the blood. Suruhan leaf is a wild plant that is easy to find. In the uric acid blood test after 2 hours post prandial, it is shown that the respondents which consumed 10 of treated melinjo crackers have a decrease of uric acid level between 0.3-0.4 mg/dL.
